- Sleep disorders
Sleep problems can negatively affect physiological processes and lead to a decrease in psychophysical efficiency. A temporary sleep disorder usually lasts for several days and can be caused by various factors, such as stress, anxiety, nervousness, medical conditions, fatigue related to changing time zones, personal problems or work-related problems.
Insomnia is said to occur, among others, when: the time to fall asleep exceeds half an hour, the total time waking up during the night lasts longer than half an hour, such a disturbance occurs for at least 3 nights in a given week and poor sleep quality causes fatigue or reduced psychophysical efficiency during the day.
