Baneocin (Bacitracin + Neomycin)

Indications

Ointment Baneocin is indicated for use in infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to neomycin and / or bacitracin.

focal skin infections, such as boils, carbuncles (after surgical treatment), staphylococcal sycosis, deep folliculitis, purulent hidradenitis, paronychia;

bacterial infections of the skin of limited prevalence, for example, contagious impetigo, infected ulcers of the lower extremities, secondarily infected eczema, secondary infection in dermatoses, cuts, abrasions, burns, in cosmetic surgery and in skin transplantation (also for prevention and for impregnating dressings);

prevention and treatment of infection after surgical interventions – Baneocin ointment can be used as an additional treatment in the postoperative period. Applying Baneocin ointment to bandages is preferable in the local treatment of patients with infected cavities an-d wounds (for example, bacterial infections of the external auditory canal without perforation of the eardrum, wounds or surgical incisions that heal by secondary intention).

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to bacitracin and / or neomycin, aminoglycoside antibiotics, auxiliary components of the drug;

extensive skin lesions, since the absorption of the drug can cause an ototoxic effect, accompanied by hearing loss;

severe violations of the excretory function due to heart or kidney failure in patients with existing lesions of the vestibular and cochlear systems in cases where absorption of the active components of the drug is possible.

simultaneous use with systemic aminoglycoside antibiotics (due to the risk of cumulative toxicity);

infections of the external auditory canal with perforation of the eardrum;

use to treat eye infections.

With caution: in patients with decreased liver and / or kidney function, acidosis, myasthenia gravis or other neuromuscular diseases.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug Baneocin during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only after consulting a doctor if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and infant. It should be remembered that neomycin, like all aminoglycoside antibiotics, can cross the placental barrier. With the use of systemically high doses of aminoglycoside antibiotics, intrauterine hearing loss of the fetus has been described.

Salbe Baneocin ist zur Anwendung bei Infektionen angezeigt, die durch Neomycin- und / oder Bacitracin-empfindliche Mikroorganismen verursacht werden.

fokale Hautinfektionen wie Furunkel, Karbunkel (nach chirurgischer Behandlung), Staphylokokkensykose, tiefe Follikulitis, eitrige Hidradenitis, Paronychie;

Bakterielle Infektionen der Haut mit begrenzter Pravalenz, zum Beispiel ansteckende Impetigo, infizierte Geschwure der unteren Extremitaten, sekundar infizierte Ekzeme, Sekundarinfektionen bei Dermatosen, Schnitten, Abschurfungen, Verbrennungen, bei kosmetischen Operationen und bei Hauttransplantationen (auch zur Vorbeugung und z impragnierende Verbande);

Pravention und Behandlung von Infektionen nach chirurgischen Eingriffen – Baneocin-Salbe kann als zusatzliche Behandlung in der postoperativen Phase verwendet werden. Das Auftragen von Baneocin-Salbe auf Verbande ist bei der lokalen Behandlung von Patienten mit infizierten Hohlraumen und Wunden (z. B. bakterielle Infektionen des au?eren Gehorgangs ohne Perforation des Trommelfells, Wunden oder chirurgische Schnitte, die sekundar heilen) vorzuziehen.

Kontraindikationen

Uberempfindlichkeit gegen Bacitracin und / oder Neomycin, Aminoglykosid-Antibiotika, Hilfskomponenten des Arzneimittels;

ausgedehnte Hautlasionen, da die Aufnahme des Arzneimittels eine ototoxische Wirkung haben kann, begleitet von Horverlust;

schwere Verletzungen der Ausscheidungsfunktion aufgrund von Herz- oder Nierenversagen bei Patienten mit bestehenden Lasionen des vestibularen und cochlearen Systems in Fallen, in denen eine Resorption der aktiven Komponenten des Arzneimittels moglich ist.

gleichzeitige Anwendung mit systemischen Aminoglykosid-Antibiotika (aufgrund des Risikos einer kumulativen Toxizitat);

Infektionen des au?eren Gehorgangs mit Perforation des Trommelfells;

zur Behandlung von Augeninfektionen verwenden.

Mit Vorsicht: bei Patienten mit eingeschrankter Leber- und/oder Nierenfunktion, Azidose, Myasthenia gravis oder anderen neuromuskularen Erkrankungen.

Anwendung wahrend der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit

Die Anwendung des Arzneimittels Baneocin wahrend der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit ist nur nach Rucksprache mit einem Arzt moglich, wenn der beabsichtigte Nutzen fur die Mutter das potenzielle Risiko fur den Fotus und das Kind uberwiegt. Es sollte daran erinnert werden, dass Neomycin, wie alle Aminoglykosid-Antibiotika, die Plazentaschranke passieren kann. Bei der Anwendung von systemisch hohen Dosen von Aminoglykosid-Antibiotika wurde ein intrauteriner Horverlust des Fotus beschrieben.
