“Composition
One tablet contains: active ingredient: acetylsalicylic acid 500 mg. Excipients: sycovit (E 110).
Excipients: calcium stearate; corn starch; mannitol; sycovit (E110); aspartame; ascorbic acid; anhydrous citric acid; magnesium carbonate; pregelatinized starch; mandarin flavor; orange flavor; sodium carbonate; sodium carboxymethylcellulose; refreshing lemon flavor.
Therapeutic indications
Symptomatic treatment of headaches and toothaches, neuralgia, menstrual pain, rheumatic and muscle pain. Symptomatic therapy of feverish conditions, colds and flu syndromes.
Dosage
Adults 1-2 tablets once, if necessary, repeat the dose at intervals of 4-8 hours up to 2-3 times a day. The product is intended for adult patients only. Always use the lowest effective dose and increase it only if it is not enough to relieve symptoms (pain and fever). Do not exceed the recommended doses: elderly patients should adhere to the minimum doses indicated above. Subjects most at risk of serious side effects, who can use the drug only as prescribed by a doctor, should strictly follow the instructions (see section 4.4). Do not take the drug for more than 3-5 days without consulting a doctor. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. It is advisable to take the medicine after main meals or, in any case, on a full stomach. The tablets should be chewed, with or without water. Aspirin Rapid 500 mg tablets are not indicated for use in the pediatric population (see section 4.4).
Contraindications
Aspirin Rapid is contraindicated in: – hypersensitivity to the active substance (acetylsalicylic acid), to other analgesics (painkillers)/antipyretics (antipyretics)/non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or to any of the excipients; – gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer; – haemorrhagic diathesis; – severe renal, cardiac or hepatic insufficiency; – glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD/favism) deficiency; – concomitant treatment with methotrexate (at doses of 15 mg/week or more) or warfarin (see section 4.5); – history of asthma induced by salicylates or substances with similar activity, in particular non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; – the last trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding (see section 4.6); – children and adolescents under 16 years of age.”
