Areas of application/indications
ManukaLind can be used for skin irritations and wounds. These include: acute and chronic wounds and ulcers, infected wounds, surgical wounds, surgical wounds, burns (I and II degrees) and scalds, necrotic wounds, diabetic wounds, covered wounds, bedsores, poorly healing wounds, cuts and abrasions, superficial wounds, care of scars, stitches, bites, skin irritations, ulcers of the feet and legs (venous, arterial).
Instructions for use:
If necessary, can be used several times a day for wound care.
If necessary, thoroughly clean the edges of the wound.
Apply ManukaLind generously. There must be full contact between ManukaLind and the wound bed. Fill the wound cavities directly with ManukaLind.
A suitable sterile dressing can be used to cover the treated wound.
If interactive dressings (e.g. foam or hydrocolloids) are used, it must be ensured that they do not contain active ingredients, as there is no experience with compatibility with ManukaLind.
The wound dressing should be changed if it is soaked with wound secretions (exudate) or if the covering dressing allows wound secretions to pass through.
When removing/changing the dressing, rinse/clean the wound with water if necessary and reapply ManukaLind.
When caring for wounds/changing dressings, current hygiene and infection prevention guidelines must be followed. This includes, at a minimum, thorough hand disinfection, the use of sterile disposable gloves and mouth and nose protection.
*Antibacterial wound healing occurs due to the physical effect of Manuka honey.
Ideally, store the ointment in the outer packaging and the medicinal product in a place protected from light and moisture in the outer packaging and out of the reach of children. store. The storage temperature should not exceed 25 ºC.
Warnings:
Avoid direct contact of the tube opening with the wound. Use one tube per patient.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly.
A slight burning or pulling sensation may occur after application. If symptoms persist, remove the bandage, rinse the wound with water and consult a doctor if necessary.
If you experience an allergic reaction, stop treatment immediately and consult a doctor.
If the desired effect is not achieved within 3 weeks, stop use and consult a doctor.”
