1. What Calypsol is and what it is used for
Calypsol for injection is a general anesthetic with a particularly analgesic effect.

It can be used alone (in monotherapy) or in combination with other drugs in diagnostic and surgical procedures of short duration, as well as for the induction and maintenance of anesthesia in both children and adults.

2. What you need to know before you get a calypsol injection
Do not inject calypsol
if you are allergic to ketamine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
if you have severe fluctuations in blood pressure despite adequate treatment or poor blood pressure control;
if you have a medical condition in which a significant increase in blood pressure poses a serious risk (for example, if you have heart failure, a head injury, increased intracranial pressure);
if you are pregnant or have had a condition called preeclampsia or eclampsia, which can cause high blood pressure
if you have a disease accompanied by seizures;
if you have untreated or poorly controlled hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid);
if you have any mental illness (such as schizophrenia).
