“Directions
Podatlet Poliact is a product for synergistic peri- and subungual control of factors responsible for microbial penetration. A relevant and frequent component of Tinea Pedis (athlete’s foot). Onychomycosis is a very common nail disease, affecting approximately 20% of the population; in patients over 60 years of age, onychomycosis reaches a much higher percentage – from 50 to 75%. Numerous risk factors predisposing to onychomycosis have been identified; many of these factors are typical for elderly people (peripheral neuropathies, ischemia, venous congestion, chronic thrombophlebitis, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, etc.). Even in young and adult subjects, there is an increasing use of shoes with insufficient breathability, frequent visits to contaminated beaches, swimming pools, showers, etc., represent an increasing risk factor for fungal nail infections. Penetration of the fungus depends on the degree of reactivity of the dermo-epidermal tissues that make up the nail apparatus (nail bed, nail matrix, hyponychium, etc.). These manifestations are often accompanied by trophic disorders of the nail with changes in shape, color and structure (onychodystrophy). The substances contained in Podatlet PoliAct act synergistically and synchronously, controlling the degree of reactivity of the skin and mucous-cutaneous tissues (through precise biological mechanisms), balancing the body’s natural defenses that counteract the penetration and spread of fungi; and normalizing nail trophism. Adelmidrol regulates the activity of mast cells; the undecylenic acid-phytosphingosine-usnic acid-triclosan-bronopol complex acts as a bioinhibitor of microbial growth, thereby helping to limit the risk of onychomycosis; Biotin and vitamin A regulate the differentiation of ratinocytes; Polydatin has an antiradical effect, and urea counteracts the thickening of the nail plate.
Active ingredients:
Urea: counteracts the thickening of the nail plate.
Polydatin: determines the antiradical effect.
Biotin/Vitamin A: regulate the differentiation of keratinocytes.
Undecylenic acid Phytongosine/Usnic acid Triclosan/Bronopol: acts as a bioinhibitor of microorganism growth, thereby helping to limit the risk of dionychomycosis.
Adelmidrol: regulates the activity of mast cells in the skin.
Method of application and dosage
Apply a few drops of the solution along the lateral base of the nail, on the proximal bend and along the free edge of the nail plate, ensuring that the product penetrates into the sublaminar area. Repeat the treatment at least 2 times a day.
Warnings
For external use only. The product is not suitable for people who are already sensitive to the components present in the composition. Keep out of reach of children.”
