“Composition
Each 3 ml bottle contains: myo-inositol, purified water, sodium chloride.
Directions
Broncositol is a sterile, preservative-free, single-use solution for nebulized aerosol administration based on inositol.
Inositol is a polyol known as an important osmolyte; as such, it has a high capacity to bind and retain significant amounts of water, especially in the tissues of the respiratory system. This lubricating and softening capacity is useful in relieving symptoms associated with inflammation, such as difficulty swallowing, a feeling of a foreign body in the throat, irritation and dryness. Inositol reduces the surface tension of the pulmonary surfactant, improving gas exchange at the level of the bronchial alveoli.
Method of administration and dosage
We recommend 1 bottle of 3 ml or, according to the doctor’s recommendations, a maximum of up to 3 bottles per day.
