The Ginkofar Extra drug contains a quantified extract of ginkgo biloba leaves, which improves blood flow in the brain, dilates blood vessels and prevents platelet aggregation. The active substances of the extract are considered to be flavonoid glycosides, ginkgolides and bilobalide.

• Indications
  The drug is used:

to improve cognitive abilities in the elderly (age-related memory and mental agility impairment),
to improve the quality of life in mild dementia.
The preparation is indicated for use in adults.
Composition
The active substance of the drug is dry extract of ginkgo biloba leaves. Each coated tablet contains 240 mg of quantified dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves (Ginkgo bilobaL., folium) (35-67: 1), which corresponds to: 52.8 to 64.8 mg of flavonoids in terms of flavone glycosides, 6.72 to 8.16 mg of ginkgolides A, B and C, 6.24 to 7.68 mg of bilobalide. Solvent used for the first extraction: acetone 65% v/v.

The other ingredients are:tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica;tablet coating: polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol 3000, yellow iron oxide (E172), talc.
Dosage
Orally.

1 tablet per day.

The treatment should last at least 8 weeks. If after 3 months of using the preparation there is no improvement or if the symptoms have worsened, you should consult a doctor to determine whether continuing the treatment is justified. Ginkofar Extra medicinal product is taken orally. The tablets should be swallowed with water. They can be taken regardless of meals.
