“Compound
The active ingredient is acetylsalicylic acid.
1 tablet contains 75 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, pregelatinized corn starch, talc, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 6 171), triacetin, copolymer of methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate, triethyl citrate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate.
Dosage
The medicine is administered orally. The dosage of Anacard Medica Protect is usually 1 tablet once daily, swallowed whole. An exception is a recent heart attack or suspected recent heart attack, when 4 tablets are prescribed at one time and they should be chewed very thoroughly so that the medicine is absorbed as quickly as possible.
Action
Anacard Medica Protect works by reducing platelet clumping (aggregation), which reduces the risk of blood clots and embolisms in blood vessels. The acetylsalicylic acid contained in the drug may irritate the gastric mucosa, but due to the form of enteric tablets, this effect is limited, since they disintegrate only in the intestines.
Indications
The indication for use of Anacard Medica Protect is coronary artery disease, also known as ischemic heart disease, and all clinical situations where it is appropriate to limit platelet aggregation, such as: prevention of heart attack in high-risk people, recent myocardial infarction. or suspected recent myocardial infarction, previous episode of unstable coronary artery disease, secondary prevention in people who have had a myocardial infarction, condition after coronary artery bypass grafting, coronary angioplasty, prevention of transient ischemic attack (TIA) and ischemic stroke in patients with TIA, after ischemic stroke in patients with TIA, in people with atherosclerosis of occlusive peripheral arteries, prevention of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in long-term immobilized patients, for example, after major surgical interventions, as an addition to other methods of prevention.
Contraindications
Anacard Medica Protect should not be used by people with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, other salicylates or any of the other ingredients of the drug. Contraindications to the use of the drug are: hemorrhagic diathesis; active peptic ulcer of the stomach and/or duodenum; severe cardiac or hepatic or renal failure; a history of asthma attacks caused by salicylates or other compounds with a similar effect, such as NSAIDs.”
