- Ibuvit D3 Kids contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) as an active substance.
- Vitamin D3 is found in some food products and is also produced in the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight.
Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium from the intestines and reduces its excretion by the kidneys, which supports bone building, maintaining proper muscle tension, nervous stimulation and blood clotting. Vitamin D3 deficiency is the cause of, among other things, rickets (impaired bone mineralization in children).
Vitamin D3 also plays a fundamental role in the absorption of phosphates from the intestines, the transport of mineral salts and participates in the proper functioning of the immune system. - Composition
