• is a medicine containing magnesium salt of lactic acid and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).
• Magnesium regulates the flow of ions in the cell – it reduces neuromuscular excitability.

It cooperates with calcium ions in the formation of bone structure. Magnesium deficiency increases the risk of hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart attack and heart rhythm disorders.

• Vitamin B6 facilitates the absorption and transport of magnesium from the digestive tract to the blood, and then through biological membranes to the interior of cells and reduces the amount of magnesium excreted in the urine, which allows for the protection of the correct intracellular pool of magnesium.

In addition, the amount of vitamin B6 contained in one tablet of the drug Magvit B6 is sufficient to protect the body against deficiency.

B6 avitaminosis in humans may manifest itself in inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, mental disorders, convulsions, polyneuritis and anemia resulting from hemoglobin deficiency.

• Indications
  Prevention and treatment of the consequences of magnesium deficiency and supplementation of vitamin B6 deficiency.

Prophylactically in states of chronic physical and mental fatigue, during intense mental and physical work, in situations causing stress and nervous hyperexcitability, in sleep disorders, depression, in muscle pain, prevention of atherosclerosis and heart attack.

Complementarily in the treatment of heart and circulatory system diseases (such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, heart rhythm disorders), in the therapy of muscle tremors, numbness of the limbs, in states of depression, during convalescence after bone fractures or in the comprehensive treatment of osteoporosis, in magnesium deficiency caused by long-term use of diuretics and laxatives.

Dosage
Prophylactically: adults and children over 12 years of age (adolescents): 2 tablets once a day or 1 to 2 tablets 2 times a day.

Therapeutically: only by prescription.

• Composition
  1 tablet contains: 48 mg of magnesium ions in the form of magnesium lactate dihydrate (Magnesiilactas) and 5 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride (Pyridoxini hydrochloridum) and auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose, sucrose, polyvinyl alcohol, silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate; methacrylic acid copolymer (Eudragit L 100 -55), talc, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 6000, povidone K 25, silicone emulsion SE2, sodium hydroxide.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

Gastrointestinal disorders may occur rarely. When the recommended doses are followed, side effects do not occur.
