indication
The medicine contains follitropin delta, a follicle-stimulating hormone that belongs to the hormone family called gonadotropins. Gonadotropins play a role in reproduction and fertility.
The medicine is used to treat female infertility in women undergoing artificial insemination (assisted reproduction) treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
It stimulates the ovaries to grow and develop many follicles (‘follicles’) from which eggs are obtained and fertilized in the laboratory.
contraindication
The medicine should not be used if
you are allergic to follicle stimulating hormone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
you have a tumor of the uterus, ovaries, breasts, pituitary gland or hypothalamus
you have enlarged ovaries or ovarian cysts (unless caused by polycystic ovarian disease)
You have unexplained bleeding from the vagina
you entered menopause early
You have any abnormalities in the genital organs that make a normal pregnancy impossible
You have uterine fibroids that make it impossible to have a normal pregnancy.
Dosage of REKOVELLE
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you and at the prescribed dose. Check with your doctor if you are not sure.
The dose for your first treatment cycle will be calculated by your doctor based on your blood levels of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH, a marker of ovarian responsiveness to gonadotropin stimulation) and your body weight. Therefore, before starting treatment, an AMH value should be available from a blood sample taken within the past 12 months. Your body weight will also be determined before the start of treatment. The dose is given in micrograms.
The dose remains the same throughout the treatment and your daily dose will not increase or decrease. Your doctor will monitor the effect of the treatment and the treatment will be stopped when there are a sufficient number of follicles. Generally, you will receive a single injection of something called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) at a dose of 250 micrograms or 5,000 IU for the final development of the follicles.
If your body responds too weakly or too strongly to treatment, your doctor may decide to stop treatment. If this is the case, your doctor may give you either a higher or a lower daily dose than before for the next treatment cycle.

Das Arzneimittel wird zur Behandlung der weiblichen Unfruchtbarkeit bei Frauen eingesetzt, die sich einer Behandlungsmethode der künstlichen Befruchtung (assistierten Reproduktion) wie der in vitro-Fertilisation (IVF) und der intracytoplasmatischen Spermieninjektion (ICSI) unterziehen.
Es regt die Eierstöcke zum Wachstum und zur Entwicklung vieler Eibläschen (‘Follikel’) an, aus denen Eizellen gewonnen und im Labor befruchtet werden.
Kontraindikation
Das Arzneimittel darf nicht angewendet werden, wenn
Sie allergisch gegen follikelstimulierendes Hormon oder einen der sonstigen Bestandteile dieses Arzneimittels sind.
Sie einen Tumor der Gebärmutter, der Eierstöcke, der Brüste, der Hirnanhangdrüse oder des Hypothalamus haben
Sie vergrößerte Eierstöcke oder Eierstockzysten haben (sofern diese nicht durch eine polyzystische Eierstockerkrankung hervorgerufen werden)
Sie unter Blutungen ungeklärter Ursache aus der Scheide leiden
Sie früh in die Wechseljahre gekommen sind
Sie Fehlbildungen der Geschlechtsorgane haben, die eine normale Schwangerschaft unmöglich machen
Sie Myome der Gebärmutter haben, die eine normale Schwangerschaft unmöglich machen.
Dosierung von REKOVELLE
Wenden Sie dieses Arzneimittel immer genau nach Anweisung durch Ihren Arzt und in der verordneten Dosis an. Fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt nach, wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind.
Die Dosis für Ihren ersten Behandlungszyklus wird von Ihrem Arzt anhand des Blutspiegels des Anti-Müller-Hormons (AMH, einem Marker für die Ansprechbarkeit der Eierstöcke auf die Stimulation mit Gonadotropinen) und Ihres Körpergewichts berechnet. Daher sollte vor Beginn der Behandlung ein AMH-Wert aus einer Blutprobe, die innerhalb der vergangenen 12 Monate abgenommen wurde, vorliegen. Vor Beginn der Behandlung wird außerdem Ihr Körpergewicht bestimmt. Die Dosis wird in Mikrogramm angegeben.
Die Dosis bleibt während der gesamten Dauer der Behandlung gleich, und Ihre Tagesdosis wird nicht mehr erhöht oder verringert. Ihr Arzt wird die Wirkung der Behandlung kontrollieren, und die Behandlung wird beendet, wenn eine ausreichende Anzahl Eibläschen vorhanden ist. Im Allgemeinen erhalten Sie eine einzige Injektion des sogenannten humanen Choriongonadotropins (hCG) in einer Dosierung von 250 Mikrogramm oder 5.000 I.E. für die abschließende Entwicklung der Follikel.
Wenn Ihr Körper zu schwach oder zu stark auf die Behandlung reagiert, kann Ihr Arzt entscheiden, die Behandlung abzubrechen. Wenn das der Fall ist, kann Ihr Arzt Ihnen für den nächsten Behandlungszyklus entweder eine höhere oder eine niedrigere Tagesdosis als vorher geben.
