Indications for Essentiale Forte:

A plant product used in liver diseases. 

Properties:

Contains 300 mg of essential phospholipids (3-sn-phosphatidylcholine), which work by accelerating the regeneration and stabilizing membranes of damaged liver cells. This damage can be caused by an unhealthy lifestyle (e.g. eating high-fat foods and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol), the effects of toxic substances (e.g. some medications), or the course of hepatitis (infection with certain viruses)2.

Essentiale Forte reduces subjective symptoms such as: loss of appetite, feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage.

Composition:

• The active substance of the drug is: soybean phospholipids containing (3-sn-phosphatidyl)choline, 1 capsule contains 300 mg.
• Excipients: refined soybean oil, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated glycerides of vegetable origin (Witepsol W 35), triglycerides of higher fatty acids (Witepsol S 55), ethanol, ethyl vanillin, p-methoxyacetophenone, tocopherol.
• Shell: gelatin, yellow iron oxide (E 172), black iron oxide (E 172), red iron oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171), sodium lauryl sulfate, purified water.

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 capsules 3 times a day
• The capsules should be taken during meals, without chewing (with a drink, e.g. a glass of water).
• The length of treatment is not limited.
