CATIONORM is a cationic oil-in-water emulsion, i.e. an aqueous solution containing numerous fine positively charged droplets with an oil core. CATIONORM® is optimally distributed over the cornea and conjunctiva due to the electrostatic attraction between the positively charged droplets and the negatively charged surface of the eye. It is evenly distributed over the surface of the eye immediately after instillation, providing rapid and long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms. CATIONORM supports all three layers of the tear film. Due to its unique composition, CATIONORM® supports all three layers of the tear film and thus provides long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms. Lipid layer: CATIONORM complements the lipid layer and thus promotes stability and reduces evaporation of the tear film. Aqueous layer: CATIONORM promotes moisturizing of the surface of the eye and provides long-lasting hydration. Mucin layer: CATIONORM is quickly and evenly distributed over the surface of the eye due to electrostatic attraction, reduces friction on the surface of the eye, moisturizes and protects the cornea and conjunctiva. Eye drops are stable for 3 months after opening. Application: Instillation into the eyes: the recommended dose is 1 drop in each eye 1-4 times a day. Keep the bottle in the outer cardboard packaging, out of the reach of children. Do not use if the bottle is damaged.
