Coldamaris Plus can be used to treat colds (flu infections) of viral origin.Coldamaris Plus can also be used for preventive and long-term moisturizing of the nasal mucosa. The preventive effect of Coldamaris Plus is based on stable moisturizing of the nasal mucosa. For use in adults and children aged one year and older.
Coldamaris Plus does not contain preservatives. The sterile filter ensures the sterility of the solution even after repeated use. Coldamaris Plus is a clear, colorless, viscous, odorless solution. 1 ml of solution contains 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan (Carrageenan®) and 0.4 mg kappa-carrageenan, sodium chloride and purified water. Carrageenan is a marine active ingredient obtained from red algae.Coldamaris Plus forms a moisturizing protective film on the nasal mucosa. This film acts as a physical barrier against external influences. Constant air humidification can prevent the development of colds and flu-like infections caused by cold viruses.
The nose is the most common route of infection with viruses that cause colds (flu infection). Flu infections are caused by viruses such as rhinoviruses and coronaviruses. Coldamaris plus is used to moisturize dry or irritated nasal mucosa and thus for the prevention and supportive treatment of all complaints resulting from dryness or irritation of the nasal mucosa. At the first signs of a cold (e.g. tingling, runny nose, etc.), spray one spray into each nostril at least 3 times a day. Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the first symptoms of a cold appear and continued until the symptoms disappear. To moisturize dry nasal mucosa, spray several sprays into the nose several times a day, depending on individual needs. Before use, remove the protective cap and, if necessary, pump the product several times until an even spray is obtained. Insert the spray head carefully and not too deeply into the nose to avoid injury. Keep the bottle upright while spraying. Put the protective cap back on after use.
