Characteristics
Blephademodex is recommended:
for daily eyelid hygiene for demodicosis,
to relieve symptoms of infection or inflammation of the eyelids caused by demodex.
Demodex is the most common microscopic skin parasite. Demodex infection contributes to inflammation of the eyelids (blepharitis). Demodex is not removed by regular daily cleaning systems. The presence of cylindrical dandruff, which remains at the base of the eyelashes, is a sure sign of Demodex infestation. Blephademodex cleans the eyelids and eyelashes from crusts, dandruff, dirt and infectious agents. Blephademodex improves symptoms associated with demodex infection, such as itching, burning, dryness and inflammation of the eyelid margin, by removing demodex parasites. Redness along the eyelid margin and a foreign body sensation are reduced. Sensitive skin is soothed and restored by sodium hyaluronate, a skin moisturizer.
Blephademodex contains terpinen-4-ol and is well tolerated because it does not contain detergents and preservatives. Blephademodex is a fragrance-free formula, but due to its ingredients, it can create a feeling of freshness. This dissipates within a few minutes. The color of the gauze (lotion) may vary. This is due to natural plant extracts and is normal.
