“Composition
Active ingredients: Ketoprofen: 25 mg.
Excipients: vegetable oil, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, soybean oil, yellow wax, soy lecithin. Capsule composition: gelatin, glycerin (E422), special sorbitol solution (E420), sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), titanium dioxide (E171), red iron oxide (E172), purified water.
Directions
Momenactcompì is indicated for pain of various origins and nature (headache, toothache, neuralgia, menstrual pain, bone and joint and muscle pain).
Method of administration and dosage
The drug is intended for adult patients only. For severe pain, take one capsule once or 2-3 times a day, preferably on a full stomach. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Special patient groups: Patients with renal impairment and the elderly: it is recommended to reduce the initial dose and conduct maintenance therapy with the minimum effective dose. Individual adjustments can be considered only after good tolerability of the drug has been established. Patients with impaired liver function: Patients with mild or moderate liver dysfunction should be closely monitored and treated with the minimum effective daily dose. Paediatric population The safety and efficacy of ketoprofen in children have not been studied.
Contraindications
Momenactcompi is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions such as bronchospasm, asthma attacks, rhinitis, urticaria or other allergic-type reactions to ketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic reactions have been reported in such patients (see section 4.8). Momenactcompi is also contraindicated in the following cases: – hypersensitivity to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1; – undergoing intensive diuretic therapy or anticoagulant treatment; – severe renal insufficiency; – severe forms of liver failure (liver cirrhosis, severe hepatitis); – leukopenia and thrombocytopenia; – subjects with active bleeding; – hemorrhagic diathesis; – persons with hemostasis disorders; – severe heart failure; – active peptic ulcer disease or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation; – if you are allergic to peanuts or soya. Momenactcompi is also contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy (see section 4.6) and in children and adolescents under 15 years of age.”
