“Directions
Apis Mellifica is a homeopathic remedy for allergic skin irritations such as hives, and to soothe itchy skin in cases of sunburn and excessive sun exposure.
It also relieves discomfort from measles, chickenpox and rubella, red and irritated throats, eases swallowing problems, and is used for swollen tongues, colds with stuffy and runny nose (rhinorrhea), red and swollen eyes, especially in cases of allergies, or redness associated with exposure to dust and smoke.
As with any homeopathic medicine, please note that Apis Mellifica has no approved therapeutic indications. In particular, a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or worsen.
Method of administration and dosage
The dosage of homeopathic medicines depends on the type of disease to be treated, whether they are chronic or acute remedies.
In the chronic phase, it is recommended to take a single dose per week at least a quarter of an hour before and after meals. In the acute phase, the granules can be taken at short intervals, up to one dose per day or several doses during the day. It is important not to take Boiron granules if you eat spicy foods such as mint and coffee, as this may affect the absorption of the homeopathic medicine.
Tips for the correct administration of single doses of Apis Mellifica
Boiron granules are contained in plastic tubes specially designed to be taken without the need to directly touch the granules with your fingers. The single dose should be taken whole, placing the granules directly under the tongue.
Placed under the tongue, the granules act faster. When given to children, the granules can be dissolved in the mouth, but not under the tongue, or in a small amount of plain water.”
