cetylpyridinium chloride 3.00 mg.
Excipients
peppermint essence, eucalyptol, tragacanth gum, rice starch, magnesium stearate, mannitol, sorbitol.
Directions
Cetilsan sugar-free lozenges are a medicine intended to combat sore throat caused by seasonal illnesses.
Method of administration and dosage
One lozenge every 3-4 hours, slowly dissolving in the mouth, but not more than 6 lozenges per day. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Warnings
Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Do not use in children under 12 years of age, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
During clinical studies, the following side effects were sporadically reported: temporary gum irritation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, stomatitis, taste changes, slight tooth discoloration, allergic dermatitis. In some cases, local intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no data on the use of cetylpyridinium chloride in pregnant women. Pregnant and lactating women should be prescribed the drug in case of real need and under the direct supervision of a physician.”
