Indications / use
The drug contains a synthetic hormone of the adrenal cortex, the so-called glucocorticoid. It is intended for application to the skin.
The drug is used to relieve mild inflammatory skin diseases.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Recommended dose for:
Adults and children aged 6 years and over
As a rule, at the beginning of treatment, the cream is applied 1-2 times a day.
As the clinical picture improves, one application per day is usually sufficient.
Children under 6 years
Children under 6 years of age can be treated with this cream only if prescribed by a doctor. Here, one application per day is usually sufficient. The duration of treatment should be limited to a maximum of 3 weeks.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used
if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any other ingredient of this medicine,
with certain skin diseases (eg, syphilis, tuberculosis of the skin),
with viral infections such as herpes simplex (painful blisters on the lips or genitals), herpes zoster (shingles), chickenpox,
with vaccination reactions,
with inflammatory redness of the face (rosacea),
with fungal infection (mycosis),
with bacterial infections of the skin,
from acne vulgaris and acne,
on open wounds,
on mucous membranes,
with inflammation of the skin near the mouth (perioral dermatitis),
in the eye or on the eye,
in the first trimester of pregnancy,
with diseases caused by a violation of hormonal regulation controlled by the pituitary gland and / or parts of the diencephalon (hypothalamus) (for example, Cushing’s syndrome).”
