Thioctacid 600 T by MEDA Pharma is a high-dose injectable treatment containing 600 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per 24 ml ampoule. It is used for the treatment of diabetic polyneuropathy, especially in patients suffering from nerve pain, tingling, numbness, or burning sensations associated with diabetes.

Each ampoule contains a ready-to-use solution for intravenous administration, designed to act quickly by delivering alpha-lipoic acid directly into the bloodstream. This antioxidant compound helps improve nerve function, reduce oxidative stress, and support metabolic balance in patients with diabetes-related nerve disorders.

Recommended use:

Areas of application

Dosage
The recommended daily dose is 600 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per day.
Injection solutions are used for 2-4 weeks at the initial stage of treatment or if symptoms worsen.

Contraindications for use
hypersensitivity to thioctic (α-lipoic) acid and other components;
pregnancy (there is no sufficient experience of use);
breastfeeding period (there is no sufficient experience of use);
childhood and adolescence (there is no clinical data on use in children and adolescents).”
