Dosage
The recommended dose is:
Children under 2 years: only on the recommendation of a doctor.
The solution is taken 1.25 ml twice daily (equivalent to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
Children 2 to 5 years old:
The solution is taken 1.25 ml 3 times daily (equivalent to 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
Children 6 to 12 years old:
Take 2.5 ml of the solution 2–3 times daily (equivalent to 30–45 mg
ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
As a rule, 5 ml of the solution (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) is taken 3 times daily for the first 2–3 days, after which 5 ml of the solution (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) is taken twice daily.
When dosing adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older, the effectiveness can be increased by administering 10 ml of the solution twice a day (equivalent to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
Dosage regimen
Age: 0 – 2 years
Daily dose: Only on the recommendation of a doctor 2 x 1.25 ml.
Age 2 – 5 years:
Daily dose: 3 x 1.25 ml.
Age 6 – 12 years:
Daily dose: 2-3 x 2.5 ml.
Age from 12 years:
