ACC Akut 600 mg effervescent tablets by Hexal AG contain a high-dose acetylcysteine (600 mg), used for loosening dense bronchial mucus in both acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including bronchitis and colds .

How it works:
Acetylcysteine cleaves the disulfide bonds in mucus, transforming sticky, tenacious secretions into more fluid mucus that is easier to expectorate. It also has antioxidant properties, neutralizing free radicals and helping regulate further mucus production.
