Apogefa Apoprotect forte 65mg 120 herbal medicine for the treatment of urinary tract diseases associated with the prostate gland. For the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, reduces sleep interruptions due to night urination, improves typical prostate problems, maximum dosage: concentrate strength. Active ingredient per soft capsule: 65 mg phytosterol (at least 70% β-sitosterol). Other ingredients: refined peanut oil, pumpkin seed oil, refined rapeseed oil, all-rac-α-tocopherol (vitamin E) as an antioxidant, gelatin, glycerin, hard fat, polysorbate 80, defatted soy phospholipids, iron (III) oxide (E 172), iron oxides and hydroxides (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171). The medicine should not be taken if you have hypersensitivity (allergy) to phytosterol or any other component of the drug in cases of proven hypersitosterolemia (hereditary metabolic disease). Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Rarely (up to 1 in 10,000 people), upper abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, nausea, or skin rash may occur. Peanut oil may cause allergic reactions.
