“Composition
Active ingredient: Naproxen sodium 220 mg (equivalent to 200 mg naproxen).
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K 30, talc, magnesium stearate.
Coating film: Opadry Blue YS 1-4215.
Directions
Lazonil tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of headaches, back pain, joint pain, muscle pain, toothache and colds. It is also indicated for menstrual pain and minor arthritis pain.
Dosage and method of administration
The film-coated tablet should be taken orally, on a full stomach, with a glass of water. Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age: 1 tablet every 8-12 hours. You may get a greater effect if you start with 2 tablets, then take 1 tablet every 12 hours if needed. The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets. Undesirable effects may be reduced by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest treatment period needed to control symptoms. Do not use for more than 7 days for symptomatic treatment of pain and for more than 3 days for colds without medical supervision. Elderly: use the lowest dose. Patients with renal, hepatic or cardiac impairment In patients with renal and/or cardiac impairment and/or severe hepatic impairment, a lower dose may be necessary. Paediatric population: Safety and efficacy in children under 16 years of age have not yet been established.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. History of asthma, urticaria or allergic reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other analgesics, antipyretics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Severe renal failure (creatinine clearance less than 20 ml/min). Severe heart failure. Liver cirrhosis and severe hepatitis. Undergoing intensive diuretic therapy. Gastric and duodenal ulcers. Subjects with active bleeding or risk of bleeding. During treatment with anticoagulants, since it increases their effect. Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Adolescents under 16 years of age. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous active treatment, or history of recurrent gastric ulcer/bleeding (two or more separate episodes of confirmed ulceration or bleeding).”
