Action

A drug that reduces pain and has an antipyretic effect.

Application

Paracetamol is used as an analgesic in pain of various origins:
* headache
* muscle pain
* toothache
* neuralgia
* menstrual pain
* occasionally as an antipyretic (for flu, colds).

Taking

The usual dose of the drug is:
Adults: 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day (maximum 8 tablets a day).
Children over 12 years: 1 tablet 3 to 4 times a day.

Undesirable effects

Occasionally: allergic skin reactions. Very rarely in the case of individual hypersensitivity, hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, methemoglobinemia.
