How to Use

“ORSALIT® DRINK is a food product for special medical purposes for dietary treatment in cases of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, as well as in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. The drug is intended for children over 3 years of age. It should be taken under medical supervision. Gluten-free product, does not contain milk proteins and lactose.
ORSALIT® DRINK is an incomplete food product. It should not be used as the sole food source. It should not be used by people who are not at risk of dehydration.

Recommended consumption:
The dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor’s recommendations. During the first 3 – 4 hours it is recommended:
for minor dehydration, administer 30–50 ml/kg body weight;
for moderate dehydration, administer 50–100 ml/kg body weight.
At a later stage, it is recommended to administer 5–10 ml/kg body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
