- Fervex is a combination drug.
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Pheniramine maleate reduces congestion and swelling of the mucous membranes, thereby clearing the nasal passages, inhibiting the sneezing reflex and tearing of the eyes.
Ascorbic acid replenishes vitamin C deficiencies in the body.
- Indications for use
Fervex is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age, in the immediate treatment of flu, cold and flu-like symptoms (headache, fever, inflammation of the nasal mucosa and throat).
In the event of a bacterial infection, it may be necessary to implement antibiotic treatment.
If there is no improvement after 5 days or the patient feels worse, consult a doctor.
Contraindications
When not to use Fervex:
if you are allergic to paracetamol, ascorbic acid, pheniramine maleate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
if you have severe liver or kidney failure,
if you have narrow-angle glaucoma,
if you have prostatic hyperplasia with difficult urination,
in children and adolescents under 15 years of age,
it should not be used in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, due to the sucrose content in the medicine.
