GrinTuss syrup for adults, 180 g (about 132 ml), contains Polyresin, a plant complex based on flavonoids, resins and polysaccharides obtained from ribwort, grindelia and helichrysum. These three plants have antitussive, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

In addition, it does not contain artificial flavourings or sweeteners. The aromas of lemon, star anise and eucalyptus essential oils help to dispel the congestion sometimes associated with coughing processes and give the formula a pleasant smell. The sweet taste, meanwhile, comes from organic cane sugar and honey.

This last ingredient is, in fact, the main active ingredient. Its antiseptic properties protect the throat from infections when it is irritated. It also helps to hydrate mucus to facilitate its elimination and to soften the surface of the throat, which reduces irritation and the consequent inflammation. Finally, it strengthens the immune system.

• Directions for use
  Although the dosage will depend on the age and weight of the patient, it is usual to take two measures between two and four times a day (the spoon is included).

It is also recommended that the last dose be taken before going to bed to encourage rest and allow the active ingredients to act. However, it is only indicated to treat cough in young people and adults. For children from one year of age, it is advisable to buy the pediatric version, whose format and price are similar.
