“Compound
1 tablet contains:
Active ingredient: Rhei radix pulveratum (rhubarb root powder) – 513.5 mg.
Excipients: crospovidone, talc.
1 tablet contains on average. 12.6 mg of anthranoid compounds expressed as rhein.
Dosage
Orally: adults and children over 12 years old, 2 tablets once, preferably before bedtime.
If necessary, the dosage can be increased to 3 tablets per day. The laxative effect occurs after 6-8 hours.
The most appropriate individual dose is the lowest dose needed to produce soft stools.
Indications
Radirex is traditionally used as a laxative for constipation.
Contraindications
When not to use Radirex:
in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug,
in the presence of intestinal obstruction, intestinal atony, acute and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (including ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease), appendicitis, hemorrhoids, glomerulonephritis, oxalate urolithiasis,
in case of diarrhea,
for dehydration and electrolyte disturbances
in case of abdominal pain of unknown etiology.”
