• Product description:
  Neospasmina Extra is a medicine in the form of capsules, the active substance of which is a combination of a water-alcohol extract of valerian root with a dry extract of lemon balm leaves and magnesium and vitamin B6. The herbal-vitamin combination is enclosed in an oval red-dark green hard capsule. Neospasmina Extra is used as a sedative, regardless of the cause of nervous tension, and its effect is based solely on long-term use and experience.
• Composition:
  1 tablet contains:

active substance: water-alcohol extract of Valeriana officinalis L., radix (valerian root) (primary DER 3-6: 1) 250 mg, extraction solvent: ethanol 70% (V / V); dry extract of Melissa officinalis L., folium (lemon balm leaf) (DER 6-8: 1) 50 mg, extraction solvent: water; heavy magnesium oxide 80 mg and vitamin B6 5 mg,
excipients: colloidal silicon dioxide, glucose, pregelatinized corn starch, stearic acid. Composition of the gelatin capsule shell: titanium dioxide (E 171), red iron oxide (E 172), yellow iron oxide (E 172), indigotine (E 132), azorubine (E 122), bovine gelatin (E 441).

• Indications:
  Neospasmina Extra is traditionally used:

in mild states of nervous tension;
as a supporting agent in periodic difficulties in falling asleep.
Action:
The medicine helps to relieve mild nervous tension and helps to fall asleep in case of periodic difficulty falling asleep.

Dosage:
This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults: 1 to 2 capsules 1 to 3 times a day. Up to 6 capsules a day.
In case of difficulty falling asleep, take 2 capsules 30-60 minutes before going to bed
Contraindications:
Neospasmina Extra should not be used:

in children and adolescents under 12 years of age.

if the patient is allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
in severe renal failure,
in hypermagnesemia, heart block and myasthenia gravis.

• Storage:
  The medicine should be stored in a tightly closed container at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC.
  Protect from moisture.
  Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
  Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
  Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
  Side effects:
  Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
  Digestive symptoms (e.g. nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea) may occur during use.
  Interactions:
  Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or are planning to take any other medicines.
  Do not use this medicine with levodopa, calcium and iron salts, phosphates or anticoagulants.
  When taking tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones, leave a 3-hour break between taking the product and the medicine. The product may increase the effect of other simultaneously used central nervous system depressants (barbiturates, benzodiazepines) and blood pressure lowering drugs (including ACE inhibitors) and cardiac glycosides. Do not use with other drugs containing magnesium and vitamin B6. The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 480 mg of magnesium oxide and 30 mg of vitamin B6.
