- The active substance contained in Noctis Noc is doxylamine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. This drug has a sedative effect, which means that it is effective as a sleep aid.
Noctis Noc is indicated for the short-term, symptomatic treatment of sporadic insomnia in adults, especially in the case of difficulty falling asleep, frequent nighttime awakenings or early morning awakenings.
Sleep disorders can have a significantly negative impact on a person’s functioning during the day, which is manifested by mental slowing down, reduced concentration, memory problems and reduced motivation. We talk about insomnia, among other things, when: the time to fall asleep exceeds half an hour, the total number of awakenings during the night lasts longer than half an hour, such a disruption occurs for at least three nights in a given week and poor sleep quality causes fatigue or reduced psychophysical efficiency during the day. Temporarily occurring sleep disorders usually last several days and are a physiological reaction occurring, for example, in situations of stress, time zone change, some transient somatic diseases, shift work, mental tension, noise.
Consultation with a doctor is also necessary in the case of symptoms other than insomnia.
