- Indications:
- Otinum is a drug indicated for occasional use in inflammatory conditions of the external auditory canal manifested by pain, itching, and redness.
- The medicine is also recommended for softening earwax before rinsing the external auditory canal.
- Contraindications:
- Do not use Otinum:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance (choline salicylate), other salicylates (e.g. acetylsalicylic acid/aspirin) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
- if you have bleeding or discharge from your ear;
- if the patient experiences severe ear pain along with hearing impairment;
- if the patient has previously been diagnosed with damage to the eardrum (rupture or rupture);
- in persons under 18 years of age.
