• DESCRIPTION:

The active substance of Paracetamol Aurovitas is paracetamol, which belongs to the group of painkillers.

Paracetamol Aurovitas tablets can be used in adults and adolescents, but is not suitable for use in children under 10 years of age.

• INDICATIONS:

Paracetamol Aurovitas is used to relieve pain and reduce fever. The tablets can reduce mild to moderate pain and/or fever [e.g. headache and toothache].

• DOSAGE:

Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 years and older (weighing over 55): Take one to two Paracetamol Aurovitas 500 mg tablets at once, up to 4 times a day. Do not take a daily dose of paracetamol greater than 6 tablets (3000 mg).

Children aged 10-15 years (weighing 40-55 kg): Take one Paracetamol Aurovitas 500 mg tablet at once, up to 4 times a day. Do not take a daily dose of paracetamol greater than 4 tablets (2000 mg).

The interval between doses must be at least 4 hours and do not take more than 4 doses per day. Swallow the tablet whole with plenty of water.

The interval between subsequent doses should be at least 4 hours.
Paracetamol Aurovitas tablets contain a score line to facilitate the use of the medicine by children.
The effective daily dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg bw per day (up to 2 g/day) in the following cases:

• adults weighing less than 50 kg,
  mild or moderate hepatic impairment, Gilbert’s syndrome (familial non-hemolytic jaundice),
  dehydration,
  long-term malnutrition
  HOW TO STORAGE:

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the blister, carton and bottle after: EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. There are no special storage instructions for this medicine.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.

COMPOSITION:

The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.

Other ingredients: Pregelatinized corn starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, hydroxypropyl cellulose (low viscosity), sodium starch glycolate (type A), talc, magnesium stearate.
