The action of
Essentiale Max reduces subjective patient complaints such as: lack of appetite, a feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage as a result of improper diet, toxic substances or in the course of hepatitis.
Taking
Essentiale Max should be used as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor. Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, the following dose is usually used:
– Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Essentiale Max capsules should be taken with meals, without chewing (e.g. with a glass of water).
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.
Rare (in 1 to 10 in 1000 patients): digestive tract disorders, e.g. nausea, loose stools, discomfort in the abdomen.
Very rare (less than 1 in 10,000 patients): hypersensitivity reactions: rash, hives.
Unknown frequency (frequency cannot be estimated from available studies): itching.
