“Composition
Active ingredients: Lidocaine hydrochloride.
Directions
Orthodermina is useful as an ointment:
Anesthesia of accessible mucous membranes of the oropharynx
anorectal itching.
Anesthetic for minor skin lesions.
Method of administration and dosage
Apply the cream to the damaged part as appropriate; in the presence of lacerations on the skin, it is recommended to apply the cream with a sterile gauze pad.
In dentistry, when anesthetizing the oral mucosa, it is dried with a cotton swab and a saliva ejector to minimize the liquefaction of the cream and promote maximum absorption of Lidocaine.
When installing a new denture, apply the cream to the surface in contact with the mucous membrane (Important: healing period).
Daily use does not exceed 35 g of cream.
Warnings
The ointment should be used with caution in subjects with particularly traumatized mucous membranes and sepsis in the area intended for application of the cream. In any case, the safety of use depends on the dosage, correct application technique and taking precautions. The product should be used in the minimum effective dose, appropriately reducing the dose depending on age and physical condition in children, the elderly and patients with acute diseases.”
