• Product description:
  Marshmallow syrup for children over 12 years of age and adults is a traditional medicinal product that is used to relieve irritation of the upper respiratory tract mucosa accompanied by cough. The main ingredient of marshmallow syrup is marshmallow root macerate.
• Composition:
  100 g of syrup contains:

active substance: marshmallow root macerate (Althaea officinalis L., radix) 35.9 g, (equivalent to 5 g of marshmallow root), extractant: a mixture of water and ethanol (47:1), benzoic acid,
excipients: benzoic acid 0.1 g, sucrose 64.0 g.
The ethanol content (760 g/l) in the product is not more than 1.1% (m/v),

• Indications:
  Relief of irritation of the upper respiratory tract mucosa accompanied by cough.

Action:
The action of the syrup is based on the mucous compounds found in the marshmallow root, which have coating, soothing and protective properties.
