Gardimax Thyme with Coltsfoot + 20 Herbs is a composition of thyme, coltsfoot and carefully selected 20 herbs. Thyme and coltsfoot extracts facilitate expectoration of sputum. The ingredients contained in coltsfoot and savory extracts soothe and have an enveloping effect on irritation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, eliminate cough caused by irritation. Mucous polysaccharides create a protective layer that eliminates irritation and inhibits reflex actions of the mucous membrane of the throat, such as coughing. However, the irritating effect of essential oils on the bronchial mucosa increases the secretion of mucus and causes its liquefaction, causing an expectorant effect.
