- Indications
- Nasal obstruction caused by swelling of the nasal mucosa during acute rhinitis (e.g. colds and flu)
- inflammation of the paranasal sinuses
- allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
- Contraindications
- When not to use Xylometazoline VP:
- if you are allergic to xylometazoline, other nasal decongestants or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
- if you have chronic atrophic rhinitis,
- if you have narrow-angle glaucoma.
