- The medicine is a hormonal contraceptive for oral use with two hormones (combined oral contraceptive). It contains a corpus luteum hormone (chlormadinone acetate) and an estrogen (ethinylestradiol). Since both hormones are contained in the same amount in the 21 film-coated tablets of a cycle pack, the preparation is also called a one-phase preparation.
- It does not protect you from HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases. Only condoms can help with that.
