Herbapol,Scopolan Compositum 10

“Compound
Active ingredients: hyoscine butylbromidum (Hyoscinibutylbromidum) and metamizole sodium monohydrate (Metamizolum natricum monohidricum).
1 film-coated tablet contains hyoscine butyl bromide 10 mg and metamizole sodium monohydrate 250 mg.
Excipients: talc, gum arabic, pork gelatin, glycerin, potato starch, magnesium stearate, sucrose, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Dosage
The usual adult dose is 1 to 2 sugar-coated tablets at a time.
For severe pain, the dosage can be increased by taking 1-2 sugar-coated tablets up to 3 times a day.
The medicine should be used only temporarily (in case of symptoms).
Always use the lowest effective dose.
You should not use the medicine for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
If symptoms worsen despite taking the drug, stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

Action
Scopolan compositum is a combination drug. Hyoscine butyl bromide has a relaxing effect, and metamizole sodium has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. The drug relieves spasms of smooth muscles of the Gastrointestinal Tract, biliary tract and genitoUrinary System.

Indications
Scopolan compositum is used for short-term treatment of severe pain due to spasms:
digestive tract (eg stomach cramps, intestinal colic, irritable bowel syndrome),
biliary tract (for example, biliary colic),
genitoUrinary System (for example, renal colic, spasms associated with ureteral stones, dysmenorrhea).
Scopolan compositum is indicated when the use of other drugs is contraindicated or ineffective.

Contraindications
When you should not use Scopolan compositum:
hypersensitivity to pyrazolones and other non-al anti-inflammatory drugs,
allergy to tropane alkaloids and their derivatives,
changes in the morphological picture of blood,
congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase,
acute hepatic porphyria,
acute renal or liver failure,
narrow angle glaucoma,
prostate hyperplasia,
paralytic ileus,
atonic constipation,
narrowing of the esophagus, cardia or pylorus,
narrowing of the bladder neck,
tachycardia,
muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis,
pathological expansion of the colon.”
