Roferon-A (Interferon alfa-2a) 0,5ml

Indications

Neoplasms of the lymphatic system and the hematopoietic system:

hairy cell leukemia;

myeloma;

cutaneous T-cell lymphoma;

Ph-positive chronic myeloid leukemia;

thrombocytosis in myeloproliferative diseases;

low-grade non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (in the form of adjuvant therapy to chemotherapy – with / without radiation therapy).

Solid Tumors:

Kaposi’s sarcoma in AIDS patients without anamnestic indications of opportunistic infections;

advanced renal cell carcinoma;

metastatic melanoma;

melanoma after surgical resection (tumor thickness> 1.5 mm) in the absence of lymph node involvement and distant metastases.

Viral diseases:

chronic active hepatitis B in adults with viral replication markers, ie positive for HBV DNA, DNA polymerase, or HBeAg and elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT);

chronic active hepatitis C in adults with serum antibodies to hepatitis C virus or HCV RNA and an increase in ALT activity without signs of hepatic decompensation (Child-Pugh class A); in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C, the combination of Roferon-A and ribavirin is optimal; Roferon-A in combination with ribavirin is indicated for both previously untreated patients and those who previously responded to interferon-alpha therapy and then had a relapse of the disease after discontinuation of therapy;

genital warts.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to recombinant interferon alpha-2a or any component of the drug;

existing or past severe heart disease;

severe violations of the function of the kidneys, liver, myeloid germ of hematopoiesis;

convulsive disorders, other disorders of the central nervous system;

chronic hepatitis with severe decompensation or cirrhosis of the liver;

chronic hepatitis in patients receiving or recently received immunosuppressants, with the exception of short-term treatment with steroids;

chronic myelogenous leukemia, if the patient has an HLA-identical relative and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation is planned or possible in the near future;

children’s age up to 3 years (contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative);

pregnancy – during combination therapy with ribavirin (see also the prescribing information for ribavirin).

Melanom nach chirurgischer Resektion (Tumordicke > 1,5 mm) ohne Lymphknotenbefall und Fernmetastasen.

Viruserkrankungen:

chronisch aktive Hepatitis B bei Erwachsenen mit viralen Replikationsmarkern, dh positiv fur HBV-DNA, DNA-Polymerase oder HBeAg und erhohte Alanin-Aminotransferase (ALT);

chronisch aktive Hepatitis C bei Erwachsenen mit Serumantikorpern gegen das Hepatitis-C-Virus oder HCV-RNA und einem Anstieg der ALT-Aktivitat ohne Anzeichen einer Leberdekompensation (Child-Pugh-Klasse A); bei der Behandlung von chronischer Hepatitis C ist die Kombination von Roferon-A und Ribavirin optimal; Roferon-A in Kombination mit Ribavirin ist sowohl fur zuvor unbehandelte Patienten als auch fur Patienten indiziert, die zuvor auf eine Interferon-alpha-Therapie angesprochen haben und dann nach Absetzen der Therapie einen Ruckfall der Krankheit hatten;

Genitalwarzen.

Kontraindikationen

Uberempfindlichkeit gegen rekombinantes Interferon alfa-2a oder einen Bestandteil des Arzneimittels;

bestehende oder vergangene schwere Herzerkrankung;

schwere Funktionsstorungen der Nieren, der Leber, des myeloischen Keims der Hamatopoese;

Krampfanfalle, andere Erkrankungen des Zentralnervensystems;

chronische Hepatitis mit schwerer Dekompensation oder Leberzirrhose;

chronische Hepatitis bei Patienten, die Immunsuppressiva erhalten oder kurzlich erhalten haben, mit Ausnahme einer Kurzzeitbehandlung mit Steroiden;

chronische myeloische Leukamie, wenn der Patient einen HLA-identischen Verwandten hat und eine allogene Knochenmarktransplantation geplant oder in naher Zukunft moglich ist;

Kinderalter bis 3 Jahre (enthalt Benzylalkohol als Konservierungsmittel);

Schwangerschaft – wahrend einer Kombinationstherapie mit Ribavirin (siehe auch die Fachinformationen fur Ribavirin).
