Finasteride belongs to a group of medicines called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. These drugs work by reducing the size of the prostate gland (prostate) in men.
Indications
Finasterid Bluefish is used to treat and control benign (ie non-cancerous) enlargement of the prostate gland (BPH).
It reduces an enlarged prostate gland, improves urine flow and symptoms caused by BPH, and reduces the risk of sudden inability to pass urine (called acute urinary retention) and the need for surgery.

Wskazania
Lek Finasteridum Bluefish jest stosowany w leczeniu i kontroli łagodnego (tj. nierakowego) rozrostu gruczołu krokowego (ang. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, BPH).
Lek zmniejsza powiększony gruczoł krokowy, poprawia przepływ moczu i łagodzi objawy wywołane przez BPH oraz zmniejsza ryzyko nagłej niemożliwości oddania moczu (zwanej ostrym zatrzymaniem moczu) i konieczności interwencji chirurgicznej.
