Therapeutic indications
Ketamine Inresa is recommended:
As an anesthetic for diagnostic and surgical interventions. When administered intravenously or intramuscularly, Inresa ketamine is best suited for short interventions. With additional doses or by intravenous infusion, Inresa Ketamine can be used for longer procedures. If skeletal muscle relaxation is required, a muscle relaxant should be used and breathing should be maintained.
Initiate anesthesia before administering other general anesthetics. To complement other anesthetics.
Specific applications or types of procedures:
If the intramuscular route of administration is preferred.
Bleaching, painful dressings and skin grafts in burned patients, as well as other superficial surgical procedures.
Neurodiagnostic methods such as pneumoencephalograms, ventricular, myelograms and lumbar punctures.
Diagnostic and surgical interventions in the eyes, ear, nose and mouth, including tooth extraction.
Record: Eye movements may persist during ophthalmic procedures.
Anesthesia in low-risk patients with depressed vital signs or when depressed vital signs should be avoided if at all possible.
Orthopedic processes such as closed cuts, manipulation, female fixation, amputations and biopsies.
Sigmoidoscopy and minor operations on the anus and rectum, circumcision and pilonidal sinus.
Cardiac catheter process.
Caesarean section; as an induction agent in the absence of high blood pressure.
Anesthesia in asthmatics to minimize the risk of bronchospasm, or for bronchospasm where anesthesia cannot be delayed.
