Nebu Pulmo supports the removal of excess secretion from the respiratory tract, stabilizes epithelial cells, improves the function of pulmonary surfactant and relieves inflammation, thus facilitating breathing. Ectoine contained in the preparation stabilizes the mucous membrane, cell membranes, extracellular proteins, macromolecules and relieves inflammation in the lungs.

Indications and action
NEBU PULMO for use in inhalation therapy is particularly recommended for patients suffering from bronchiolitis, acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, asthma (allergic and non-allergic), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and allergic conditions of the respiratory tract caused by inhaling allergens such as dust or pollen.

Its action is based on various mechanisms, when it is necessary to remove excess secretion from the respiratory tract by restoring mucociliary clearance, stabilizing epithelial cells, improving the function of pulmonary surfactant and alleviating inflammation, thus facilitating breathing:
• breaks down ionic bonds of mucous secretion, which reduces the viscosity and elasticity of the secretion
• stimulates the cough and expectoration reflex as mechanisms supporting the removal of mucus from the bronchi, which leads to unblocking the respiratory tract
• absorbs water from the mucous and submucous membranes, reducing swelling of the respiratory tract walls, and then moisturizes their mucosa
• Ectoin-Hydro-Complex stabilise la muqueuse, les membranes cellulaires, les protéines extracellulaires et d’autres macromolécules et soulage l’inflammation des poumons

Dosage
La préparation peut être administrée à l’aide de tout type de nébuliseur.
Le mode d’emploi indiqué par le fabricant de l’appareil doit être suivi.
Pour une inhalation unique, utiliser 5 ml de solution ou suivre les recommandations du médecin.

Composition
Solution stérile de chlorure de sodium à 3 %, ectoïne.
