Lora-ADGC 100 – The medicine belongs to a group of antihistamines and is used to treat the symptoms of certain allergic diseases associated with increased histamine release.
It is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (eg, hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (skin rash of unknown etiology).
The medicine should not be taken
if you are allergic to loratadine or any other ingredients of this medicine.
The recommended dose is
Adults and children over 12 years of age
1 tablet once a day (equivalent to 10 mg loratadine).
A dosage adjustment in elderly patients (over 65 years of age) or in patients with renal impairment is not necessary.
Children aged 2 to 12 years
For a body weight greater than 30 kg: 1 tablet once a day (equivalent to 10 mg loratadine).
For a body weight of 30 kg or less: ½ tablet once a day (equivalent to 5 mg loratadine).
The efficacy and safety of the drug in children under 2 years of age have not been established.
Patients with severe liver dysfunction
Adults and children weighing more than 30 kg: Starting dose: 1 tablet every 2 days.
Children weighing 30 kg or less: Starting dose: ½ tablet every 2 days.
If you take more than the prescribed dose, no serious side effects are expected, but you may experience headache, rapid heartbeat or drowsiness.
If you forget to take a tablet on time, take it as soon as possible.
