1A Pharma Deslora 5mg 20 – contains desloratadine, which is an antihistamine.
It is an anti-allergy medicine that does not cause drowsiness. It helps control an allergic reaction and its symptoms.
The medicine improves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by allergies, such as hay fever or dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. These symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy roof of the mouth, and itchy, red, or watery eyes.
Desloratadine is also used to improve the symptoms of hives (a skin condition caused by allergies).
The improvement in these symptoms lasts all day and helps you return to your normal daily activities and restore sleep.
Do not take this medicine:
If you are allergic to desloratadine or any other ingredient in this medicine, or to loratadine.
Use in adults and adolescents (12 years and older)
The recommended dosage is one tablet once a day, swallowed with water, with or without food.
Duration of use
As for the duration of treatment, your doctor will determine the type of allergic rhinitis you suffer from and then determine how long you should take desloratadine.
If your allergic rhinitis is intermittent (symptoms occur less than 4 days a week or last less than 4 weeks), your doctor will recommend a treatment regimen based on your assessment of the previous progression of the disease.
In the case of hives, the duration of treatment may vary from patient to patient. Therefore, you should follow your doctor’s instructions.
If you forget to take a dose on time, take it as soon as possible and then return to your normal treatment schedule.

Children and adolescents
Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age.
Ability to drive and use machines
If you take the recommended dosage, this medicine is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Although most people do not experience drowsiness, it is recommended to refrain from activities requiring mental alertness, such as driving or operating machinery, until your personal response to the medicine has been established.
Desloratadine is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
There are no data on male/female fertility.
The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily with water, with or without food.
This medicine is for oral use.
Swallow the tablet whole (without chewing).
Other medicines
Desloratadine has no known interactions with other medicines.

The medicine can be taken with or without food.
During treatment, alcohol should be consumed only with caution.
