UCB, Zyrtec 10mg 20 UCB

Zyrtec 10mg 20 – Cetirizine dihydrochloride is the active ingredient of this medicine.
It is an antiallergic drug.
Adults and children aged 6 years and older are indicated for:
Relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
Relief of urticaria (hives).
The tablets should be taken whole with a glass of liquid.
Use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
Recommended dose: 10 mg once a day, 1 tablet
Use in children aged 6 to 12 years
Recommended dose: 5 mg twice a day, half a tablet twice a day
Use in patients with renal insufficiency
Patients with moderate renal insufficiency are recommended to take 5 mg once a day.
If you have severe kidney disease, talk to your doctor or pharmacist, who can adjust your dose accordingly.
If you forget to take your previous dose, do not take a double amount.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
The medicine should be avoided in pregnant women. Accidental ingestion of the medicine by pregnant women should not lead to harmful effects on the health of the fetus.
Breastfeeding period
Cetirizine passes into breast milk. Adverse reactions associated with cetirizine may occur in breastfed infants. Therefore, until you consult a doctor, you should not take the medicine while breastfeeding.
Side effects
– Gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, anxiety, sore throat
Dry mouth – runny nose, uneven sensations
Skin hypersensitivity reactions such as – itching, rash, general weakness
