Pharmacokinetics
Quickly and completely absorbed. T1 / 2 – 8-10 hours, binding to plasma proteins does not exceed 10-20%. Easily penetrates into tissues (lungs, kidneys, liver, skin, bile, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, seminal fluid, vaginal secretion), into mother’s milk, overcomes the placental barrier. It is excreted by 40-70% (about 20% in unchanged form) through the kidneys.
Indications
Amoebiasis, urogenital trichomoniasis, nonspecific vaginitis, giardiasis (intestinal and hepatic), surgical infections caused by anaerobes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
During pregnancy, it is prescribed with caution; during lactation, breastfeeding is stopped.

Es wird zu 40-70% (etwa 20% in unveränderter Form) über die Nieren ausgeschieden.
Hinweise
Amöbiasis, urogenitale Trichomoniasis, unspezifische Vaginitis, Giardiasis (intestinal und hepatisch), chirurgische Infektionen durch Anaerobier.
Kontraindikationen
Überempfindlichkeit.
Anwendung während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit
Während der Schwangerschaft wird es mit Vorsicht verschrieben, während der Stillzeit wird das Stillen eingestellt.
