The medicine contains the active substance finasteride. Apply to bald areas of the scalp using a spray applicator consisting of a bottle with a pump and a cone.
The drug is used to treat mild to moderate hair loss in men (so-called androgenetic alopecia). The medicine enhances hair growth on the scalp and prevents further hair loss in men. It is intended only for men aged 18 to 41 years.
Male pattern baldness is common and is believed to be caused by an interaction between genetic factors and the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT). In androgenetic alopecia, the balding scalp contains increased amounts of DHT. This hormone likely contributes to a shortened hair growth phase and thinning hair. Hair follicles decrease in size (miniaturize), hair loss occurs in the forehead and back of the head. This medication reduces the concentration of DHT in the scalp. This promotes regression of baldness, leads to increased hair growth and prevents further hair loss.

Always use this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Depending on the size of the bald scalp, your doctor will prescribe 1 to 4 sprays per day, each applied to a separate area of the bald scalp. Do not use more than 4 sprays per day.
Dose and possible days of treatment
The bottle contains up to 180 sprays. How many days of treatment one bottle will last depends on whether the doctor prescribed 1, 2, 3 or 4 sprays per day. Do not use a bottle for more than 180 sprays as the remaining solution in the bottle may no longer correspond to the full dose, which may affect the effectiveness of treatment.

On the day you start treatment with Finsur, write down the prescribed dose (1, 2, 3 or 4 sprays) on your calendar and calculate when you need a new bottle. Contact your doctor before your supply runs out so you don’t have to interrupt your treatment.
If you used more than you should
If you use more than recommended, talk to your doctor. Finasteride does not work faster or better if you take it more than once a day, but side effects are more likely.
If you forgot to use it
If you forget to use it, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed use. Continue to use at the dose recommended by your doctor.
If you cancel your application
It may take 3 months for the effect of treatment to appear. It is important to use the product as directed by your doctor. If you stop using it, you will most likely lose hair growth again.

The medicine is intended for use on the skin. It can only be used on the scalp.
Make sure your hair and scalp are completely dry before use. Use this medication only on the scalp itself. If you are prescribed more than one spray, apply them so that the treated areas do not overlap. Do not use the solution on any part of the body other than the scalp. Allow the nebulized medication to sit for at least 6 hours.
The drug can be transmitted by touching tissue, hands, or other surfaces or objects. Avoid contact of the treated scalp with pillows, helmets, hats, etc. until the solution dries.
The medication may be transferred from the scalp to other people if they touch the treated scalp or surfaces on which the solution has been sprayed. If the product comes into contact with the product, a person should immediately and thoroughly wash the affected part of the body.
Store the product in a protected, safe place out of the reach of children. Inform family members or others with access to the storage area about precautions to avoid contact with the medicine.
